The demo blog was offline for a few days. Now it´s working again.You can test your avatar. 

The last few hours the service is having performance problems. We recommend disable plugins and calls from code until it is resolved. This may slow loading your sites.

Liu Kang-min has developed a new Openvatar PERL module to generate Openvatar URLs.

There is a new Wordpress plugin for Openvatar, it's called WP-Gravatar. It also support avatars for Gravatar, Mybloglog and favicons for comments.You can download from here. The author of this plugin is Rune (Openvatar user). The homepage for the project is here.

We have added one more section.The avatars gallery, a gallery of all avatars registered in Openvatar.

There is a new section called "Openvatar enabled sites". Here you can found the list of the sites that uses Openvatar for his users avatars.

It's a live list. If your site is Openvatar enabled, it appears in the list inmediately.

There is a new forum for support. Here you can ask any questions about the service. If you have a Openid enabled site, you can solve problems with the installation of Openvatar. The users also can ask questions about his account and Openid related questions.

A new version for the Wordpress plugin has been released. The 0.2 beta. You can download from here or from the help section. This version fixes a bug related to openid delegated websites.

Some users has registered using Yahoo!'s Openid accounts. The register proccess works well, but the avatars generator don't. Also Blogger's Openid accounts don't work, the Blogger Openid server returns an error. We are working to solve these issues.

Some bugs have been fixed in this version:

• Some remote avatar petitions failed. The first time that an avatar was required failed, the second time (same size) worked well.
  
• Several stats system improvements.
